Going to the wineries of ischia 2023 - official dates: 20 September - 2 October.
Wine is one of the great attractions of Ischia especially in September when the smell of must invades the streets and admire the beauty of vineyards.
Since ancient times, Greeks and Romans and then the inhabitants of Ischia understood that the land of the island was able to give wine a unique taste that made it very popular all over Europe. Today Ischia's wines are commercialized all over the world and are regularly awarded worldwide.
"Andar per cantine" is an event born with the aim of creating paths between the historic and modern wineries of the island of Ischia.

ISCHIA WINE CELLARS E THE EVENT GO FOR WINERIES (ANDAR PER CANTINE)
Ischia boasts excellent grapes, some of them are autochthonous and others have been imported to the island but in Ischia they have found the perfect conditions to give life to a delicious wine.
The excellent product, the history, the heroic terraced cultivation and the acute techniques of wine making have earned the wine of Ischia the recognition of DOC WINE ( Controlled Denomination of Origin) since 1966.
Ischia obtained the first DOC in Campania and was among the first 5 Italian DOCs in history.

The itineraries of "Andar per Cantine" are based on the grapes listed above. Each path include wineries that make wine with the relative type of grape.
Some routes take place both in the morning, with departure at 10 am, and in the afternoon with departure at 3 pm. The meeting point for the departure is the headquarters of the Pro Loco Panza which is located in the center of the homonymous village.

a visit to the wineries Scardecchia - Raustella - A cantin e Cir or Fattoria Greca - Scardecchia - Raustella (wineries vary between morning and afternoon route).
Frassitelli Path
With a visit to the cellars Raustella - A cantin and Cir - Nonno Michele di Tony.
San Lundardo Path
With the visit to the wine cellars Passariello - Sapori della nonna - Scardecchia or Sapori della nonna - Passariello - Pietratorcia (the wine cellars vary between morning and afternoon route).
Epomeo Path
With the visit to the cellars A cantin 'e Cir - Nonno Michele di Tony - 'O Scilaturo.
Aenaria Path
With the visit to the cellars Scardecchia - A cantin e Cir - Cenatiempo.
Uva Rilla Path
With the visit to the cellars Boccaneto - Nonno Michele di Tony - 'O Scilaturo.
Per' e Palummo Path
With a visit to Passariello cellars - Sapori della nonna - Tommasone.
The vineyards of the sea with the sailing ship La Rondine
On board of the sailing ship you will taste typical wines accompanied by classics of traditional Ischian cuisine.
Wine tasting under the stars
It consists of a guided tour with tastings of wines and typical products under the stars with a visit to the most beautiful and suggestive wineries of the island.
This year the event will be enriched with paths of "Andar per sentieri" go for paths, the famous and popular spring event dedicated to trekking and nature lovers who want to discover the many paths of the green island.

The price of the tour includes the shuttle service from and to the Pro Loco Panza, the visit of the wineries, the guide in addition to the wine and typical products tasting.
